The Emerald Association Scholarships are
awarded each year to graduating high school students who are planning to
continue their education at a college, university or approved business
school. The candidates must be sons, daughters, grandsons or granddaughters
of members of The Emerald Association of Putnam County.
Guidelines:
The drawing
will take place at the April general membership meeting
Member must
be in good standing, have dues paid by March 31st.
Be a member
for 2 calendar years.
Have
attended 4 meetings each year. (If member is unable to attend required
number of meeting, executive board or scholarship administrator must be
notified)
Candidate
must be represented at the drawing by herself/himself or the sponsoring
member listed above.
The proceeds
of the scholarship will be paid upon successful completion of the 1st
semester and submission of proof (College Transcript) to the scholarship
administrator.
Candidates
are required to help at the annual Feis held each May or another major
event during the year.
All
candidates meeting the above requirements will be awarded a $500.00
scholarship.
Complete
this form and submit to the Scholarship Administrator before April
meeting begins.
